Alumni

The Movement Authority is proud to have alumni in all areas of the dance world from TV, Film, Stage, Dance Companies, College Dance programs, as well as instructing the next generation. Check out what they’ve been up to:

Colleen Craig

A native of Kansas, Colleen grew up training at The Movement Authority.  After attending Oklahoma City University for dance performance, Colleen now resides in Los Angeles where she is pursuing a career in the entertainment industry.  Her passion and versatility has brought her many opportunities, including assisting Emmy Award winning choreographer Marguerite Derricks.  She has worked on TV shows such as Dancing with the Stars, Greek, America’s Got Talent, and Cold Case.  Look out for Colleen in the new feature film “Fame” as one of the lead featured dancers, (September 25th) as well as VH1′s “Diva’s Live” (September 17th), dancing alongside Miley Cyrus, Jordan Sparks, Leona Lewis, and Adele.

Ade

Ade Obayomi

Ade started his training with The Movement Authority when he was 10 years old.  After moving to Arizona for High School Ade attended Champan University in California on a Dance Scholarship.  He was recently featured on the hit TV show, “Dancing with the Stars” in the Macy’s stars of Dance.  You may have also caught Ade on, FOX’s, “So You Think You Can Dance”.  Among the many memorable performances he gave was the tribute to Breast cancer choreographed by Tyce Diorio. Ade finished in the “top 6″ this past season and you can catch him touring the country with the SYTYCD National Tour.

Kailee

Kailee Combs

Kailee Combs recently finished her first year as a dance major at George Mason University in Virginia.  During her freshman year, Kailee was in several  performances and was given the opportunity to work closely with professional modern dance choreographers such as David Parsons and Susan Shields.  Kailee ended her freshman year on the Dean’s list, and was also named “Freshman of the Year” by the George Mason Dance Department.   She spent her summer studying dance under The David Parsons Dance Company in New York City and City Dance Ensemble in Washington DC.  She also has taught master classes  throughout the Washington, DC area, as well as setting several pieces of choreography.   Kailee has just entered her sophomore year at George Mason University double majoring in dance and economics. During her school year she will continue to teach and choreograph . Kailee will be traveling with The Wild Dance Intensive over the next several months assisting the faculty.

DylanDylan Noe

Originally from Wichita, KS, Dylan began his dance training at the age of ten with celebrated choreographer Kacy Combs. For almost ten years, Dylan has trained in all styles of dance from jazz to ballet to contemporary taking class from renowned choreographers such as Adrienne Canterna, Mandy Moore, and Mia Michaels. During that time, Dylan also competed on the regional and national levels in many different talent competitions where he received numerous titles and awards. After relocating to the St. Louis, MO area in 2004, Dylan began teaching and choreographing for local studios while continuing to develop his own technical skills. Dylan currently lives in Chicago, IL where he is working towards a BA in choreography from Columbia College, on scholarship. Dylan continues to teach and remains an active part of the competition circuit by working Revolution Talent Competition.
